We’re down to the final three. On Monday night, fans were introduced to the Season 21 finalists of “Dancing With the Stars” after Carlos PenaVega received the ballroom boot from the competition.

“Well, first of all, I thank God for this opportunity,” Carlos said after it was revealed he was getting eliminated from the hit ABC series. “It’s been life changing -- my marriage is so much stronger, I’ve made some amazing friends, and most importantly, I’ve learned so much about myself and I have the best partner in the world."

Carlos and Witney Carson's elimination came as a shock not only to fans, but to a former “DWTS” contestant, too! The morning after the show on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Candace Cameron Bure, who competed on the dance series during Season 18, revealed that she was stunned by who made it to the final episode. (Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold, Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough and Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess will all be competing in the finale on Tuesday.)

“I was surprised [Alek] was even in the finals!” the “DWTS” finalist admitted. “He was the me of my season. I think he’s done an amazing job,” she added, noting that his military-inspired freestyle is something she’ll “remember forever.”

However, Cameron is crossing her fingers that another contestant takes home the coveted Mirror Ball trophy: Team Crickey.

“Bindi stole my heart,” the “Fuller House” house star said, noting that she agrees with the 70 percent of people who also revealed they want the animal enthusiast to win via a “GMA” poll. “She’s like the nicest person in the world.”

During Monday’s episode, judge Carrie Ann Inaba gushed in her review of Bindi’s emotional freestyle routine, which was inspired by her late father, Steve Irwin.

“This has been such a joy for me to watch -- to experience you every week,” Carrie Ann told the Aussie native. “I kind of gloss over it because I know everybody knows how fantastic you are but as you were dancing I was like, ‘Her determination, her passion, her power, her charisma, her artistry, the vulnerability, the poignancy!’ What you do is you do each moment to its fullest potential, you do each dance to its fullest potential and I am grateful for you.”
