The two-hour “Grey’s Anatomy” event may be over, but that doesn’t mean the drama is! According to the synopsis for Season 12, episode 20, of the hit ABC series, titled “Trigger Happy,” audiences can anticipate a heart-stopping storyline involving, you guessed it, a gun.

“The doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial work frantically to save a young boy who was accidentally shot,” the summary divulges, setting up the weekly crisis of the long-running show.

But that won’t be the only drama within episode 20. The synopsis adds that Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) will confront Callie (Sara Ramirez) about making an “important decision regarding their daughter’s future” — one that Callie neglected to consult with Arizona.

TVLine revealed that the tension between the former flames will involve Penny (Samantha Sloyan), who was recently awarded the Preminger Grant in episode 17. The prestigious accolade requires the recipient to move across the country — and Callie is considering making the trek to New York with the award-winning surgeon.

But why is Arizona bent out of shape over her ex moving on with her life and potentially across the country? Well, they share custody of a daughter whose living arrangements could be affected by the move.

The couple’s decision involving the future of Sofia (Eva Ariel Binder) will be a difficult one.

Fans will find out the fate of Calzona when “Grey’s Anatomy” airs Monday, April 21, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
