David Denman
David Denman will reprise his role a Roy on season nine of "The Office." Wikipedia

NBC's "The Office" may have recently been bidding adieu to some long time Dunder Mifflin employees, but one original worker is returning to the Scranton branch. Hold on tight Jim and Pam, Roy, the former warehouse worker and Pam's ex-fiancé is coming back into the office.

TVLine is reporting that David Denman, who played Roy, will be returning as a guest star for season nine of "The Office." Denman hasn't made an appearance on the show since season five, and a lot has changed since then.

Fans will remember that Roy was a bit of a hot head. Initially engaged to Pam, Roy worked in the Dunder Mifflin warehouse while Pam worked upstairs in the office, developing a close friendship with Jim. Pam and Jim ended up kissing, and when Roy found out he completely lost his cool. Luckily or Jim, he escaped a physical altercation when quick thinking Dwight surprisingly intervened. Roy ended up getting fired, and had only reappeared once while Pam and Kim were engaged. A couple seasons later, Pam and Jim are now married with two kids.

Will Roy be trying to win Pam back? Is he looking for revenge on Jim? Or has he maybe found the light and hoping to make peace?

While the circumstances of his reappearance are a mystery, we're pretty sure his interaction with his former Dunder Mifflin coworkers will be an absolute hoot.
