Courtney Robertson haters can cool their heels: the controversial contestant from the 16th season of The Bachelor is still with Ben Flajnik and the two are quite happy.

It's nice to see him in social settings and with his family, Robertson recently told People magazine about her man. He is the life of the party. He's got this great personality.

The engaged couple also repeated what they've reiterated since getting back together in the After the Final Rose ceremony: they are still learning about each other and taking things slowly.

Fans of the Bachelor franchise have something to look forward to: the eighth season of The Bachelorette premieres on May 14. Emily Maynard will hopefully find love among a new crop of suitors.

Maynard was a contestant on the 15th season of The Bachelor. She won the heart of two-time bachelor Brad Womack but the engaged couple later broke up.

Maynard has been spotted on dates in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, where she and her daughter are currently based. The show has partially filmed in that city to accommodate the single mom.

Thanks for all the support last night! she tweeted in March. I'm so excited and can't wait to share this journey with you all! Be sure to watch on May 14th! xox.

The new bachelorette has every reason to hope for the best. Her immediate predecessor, Ashley Hebert, is engaged to her own final pick, J.P. Rosenbaum. Hebert and Maynard were old rivals -- Hebert came in third place in the 15th season of The Bachelor -- but she wishes Maynard all the best. She and former bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky helped Maynard get excited for the show.

I know Emily from my first season on 'The Bachelor' with Brad [Womack] and I absolutely adored her, Hebert said in a sneak peek. You could not pick a better person.
