A small air plane crashed near Faridabad, near outskirts of the Indain Capital, killing 10 people on Wednesday night, the local television channels reported.

The crashed plane was an air ambulance carrying a 22-year-old student who was in a critical condition and was being shifted to Delhi's Apollo Hospital. The plane that had taken off from Patna, Bihar rammed into the residential area of Faridabad, killing the 7 on board and 3 on ground.

The plane fell on two houses in the middle at around 10:45 pm on Wednesday night and immediately burst into flames. There were five passengers and two crew members on board, Times of India report said.
