“19 Kids and Counting” star Jill Duggar has officially passed her due date and according to the TLC star, she isn’t expecting to be welcoming her baby boy anytime soon. Despite being scheduled to deliver her first child with husband and co-star Derick Dillard Tuesday, the mom-to-be said she is now banking on an April birthday for her first-born.

The TV star and midwife has set a new due date for herself, April 5, People Magazine reports. “I have told myself, ‘First-time moms often go a week and a half over, so don’t get discouraged,” Jill recently told the magazine, calling her baby’s late arrival “no big deal.” “The baby will come when the baby comes,” she added. “Planning on the baby coming late… if you have that in your head that way, you won’t get discouraged.”

While Jill is being patient ahead of her delivery, she did hint that Derick may be getting a little bit anxious. When talking about how “sweet” he was has lately by painting her nails, among other tasks, she said he referred to her most recent nail polish color choice as her “labor color.”

“He asked me what color I wanted, and we decided on pink nails. He picked out a bright pink and he said, ‘Here we go – this will be your labor color,'" she said.

While some “19 Kids and Counting” viewers may be disappointed to learn they will have to wait a little longer before they get their first glimpse of Jill and Derick’s baby, Jill did reveal to People that she has been having Braxton Hicks contractions lately. According to American Pregnancy Association, Braxton Hicks, which are also known as “practice contractions,” typically occur in the third trimester of pregnancy and are the body’s way of preparing for child birth.

Jill last updated fans on her pregnancy on original due date Tuesday by posting a photo of Derick posing next to a newly-installed car seat. “Pappa Dilly installed the car seat today!” Jill captioned the Instagram image. “Ready for #babydilly to come any day!”

Let’s hope for Jill and Derick’s sake their son arrives soon. The couple recently announced that they already have their child's first public appearance planned. Jill confirmed on Twitter Saturday that she will be attending the Alive Festival in Mineral City, Ohio, this June with Derick and “Baby Dilly.” The TLC star said that her family was “looking forward” to the event. “Hope to see you there!” she wrote.

The Dillards will not be the only stars of “19 Kids and Counting” to attend the Christian event. Jill’s newly-married sister Jessa Duggar and her husband Ben Seewald have confirmed they will be attending. Jill’s oldest brother Josh Duggar and his pregnant wife Anna are also listed as scheduled speakers on the Alive Festival lineup.
