Yahoo Inc.' new CEO will be paid a compensation package of about $19 million in 2009, bonus and stock options, a securities filing stated.

Carol Bartz' payment includes an annual base salary of $1 million and cash and stock grants worth $18 million, the filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission read, according to Reuters. She will also receive stock options for $5 million.

Among the grants, a $10 million equity-and-cash payment will replace some benefits that she would receive in her previous company Autodesk Inc. and about $8 million is an annual equity grant she will receive in February, according to the filings.

Bartz is also eligible for a $2 to $4 million yearly bonus, depending on the company or her performance.

Yahoo Inc. announced Carol Bratz, 60 as its new Chief Executive Officer on Tuesday. Shares of the company dropped over 6 percent two days later, on reports that she may not complete a sale of Yahoo's internet search business to Microsoft Corp., according to reports from the Wall Street Journal quoting people familiar with the issue.
