Tiger Woods may have regained his winning form at the WGC Cadillac Championship.

Shooting a 7-under 65 through Friday, the American holds a two-stroke lead over Graeme McDowell, and a three-stroke cushion from rival Phil Mickelson heading into Saturday's third round.

During is pro career, Woods has won 26 out of 31 times after holding a lead through 36 holes. He is currently 13-under after two rounds, and has hit 17 birdies, a career-high after two rounds.

Woods will tee-off at 1:45 p.m in third round action.

Mickelson nearly knocked down an ace on the ninth hole with a soaring shot over the water landing inches from the cup. However bogeys on the seventh and 13th holes kept him at third place. He will tee-off at 1:35 p.m.

Rory McIlroy greatly improved on his six bogey performance in the first round, but not by much. Half of his six birdies were negated by three bogeys. He is currently tied for 32nd. McIlroy begins his third round at 10:35 a.m.
