Lakers' Andrew Bynum who fouled J.J Barea hard with an elbow will be suspended without wage for the first 5 games of the next season.

He also got $25,000 fine for taking off his jersey and flagrantly leaving the court. The suspension will cost Bynum more than $700,000.

Bynum apologized today about the foul and he promised that it would not happen again.

Bynum said he has tried to get in contact with J.J Barea to apologize personally, but hasn't been able to reach him yet.

Lakers has been swept 4-0 by the Mavericks in second round of playoff series.
