The laid back approach to fashion drifts down the runway during Rio de Janeiro Fashion Week. One of the biggest events in the Brazilian fashion calendar started on May 27, Rio Fashion introduces amazing up and coming, young and talented designers such as Triya and British Colony as well as the return of Isabela Capeto and Totem.

The shows scheduled from 4pm to 11pm throughout the week are jam packed with florals, prints and cutouts. Patterns and graphics, mostly geometric, were also very popular amongst the designers' collections. Designers showcase all the summer necessities from retro swimwear with crossed band designs to romantic dress wear with plunging necklines.
