An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.0 shook the San Francisco area early Monday morning, reported.

There are no reported damages or injuries at this time, according to the California Emergency Management Agency.

The quake happened at 5:33 a.m. PST and was centered near the Mira Vista Country Club in the El Cerrito hills along the Hayward Fault, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, reported.
