Warren Buffett, the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, has picked a successor to run his legendary firm.

The Oracle of Omaha hasn't divulged the name -- or even told the person -- but said on CNBC that the pick is probably the CEO of some operation within Berkshire.
