Rapper 50 Cent is adding another book to his bibliography.

The fitness book, titled Formula 50: A 6-Week Total Body Transformation Plan, is scheduled for publication in January 2013, The Associated Press reported. The book will be co-authored by Jeff O'Connell, editor of the fitness Web site BodyBuilding.com.

The book will be published by Penguin Group imprint Avery. It is meant to help people make positive changes and take charge of their overall health, the rapper said, The AP reported.

The famous rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, seems to be reaching out to fans of all ages lately. He released a novel in November, titled Playground, which is about a 13-year-old bully. The novel has been getting some positive buzz on book lover Web sites such as GoodReads.com and Amazon.

Also on his book list is his memoir From Pieces to Weight: Once Upon a Time in Southside Queens.

50 Cent is not the only rapper to delve into the world of publishing.

Snoop Dogg co-authored the novel Love Don't Live Here No More: Book One of Doggy Tales. Styles P came out with his novel Invincible in 2010. T.I. came out with the novel Power & Beauty: A Love Story of Life on the Streets in October.
