The “Fifty Shades of Grey” cast is growing! “True Blood” star Luke Grimes was cast earlier this week as Christian Grey’s brother, Elliot, and now fans of the erotic novel can match a face to Jose, Christian’s rival.

So, who has landed the coveted role as Anastasia Steele’s best guy friend? According to Deadline, “Lords of Dogtown” actor Victor Rasuk.

For those unaware of the character of Jose, he was a classmate of Anastasia’s at WSUV. The pair became close friends and had a connection through their fathers, who served in the same Army unit. While Anastasia thought of Jose like a brother, Jose had stronger feelings for Anastasia.

Jose becomes a rival for Christian after trying to kiss a drunk Anastasia at the bar one night. Coming onto his friend, Christian managed to step in to stop him. The jealousy between the two men grew in the second book, “Fifty Shades Darker,” when Jose revealed a photography exhibit that was comprised of black and white images of Anastasia. Christian ended up purchasing the entire series so that way no one else could look at her.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” fans might recognize Rasuk, 29, from the 2005 flick “Lords of Dogtown,” in which he played skateboard legend Tony Alva. He went on to star in “ER” as Dr. Ryan Sanchez, and “How to Make It In America” as Cameron Calderon.

Rasuk joins Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, Jennifer Ehle as Carla May Wilks and Luke Grimes as Elliot Grey.

The movie, which is scheduled to appear in theaters on Aug. 1, 2014, still has a few parts left to cast, such as Anastasia Steele’s father, Ray, or her best friend, Kate. The roles of Christian Grey's parents and Mrs. Robinson/Elena -- the older woman who turned Christian onto S&M -- also still need to be filled.
