Thanks to Simon Panrucker, his 6- and 9-year-old nieces, Flo and Poppy, are rock stars on the drums. Well, not really, but the video he edited makes them look like pros.

When Panrucker, a freelance filmmaker, got together with his family at his parent’s home outside of Cambridge, England, an idea came to him.

"I got the idea to shoot the video when I heard my youngest niece was getting a drum kit for her birthday," Panrucker told ABCNews.com. "I thought, 'Oh man, it would be so fun to make it look like she can play incredibly fast rhythms even though she's only just started!'"

It took Panrucker an hour or two to shoot the video, since it was “a little painstaking” to get Flo to hit each drum separately rather than going all out on the drums. After five straight nights of video editing, he came up with what’s now an Internet sensation.

The video racked up nearly 15,000 views in less than two days, according to ABC News.

Panrucker writes along with his video: “Thanks to my nieces for being good sports, and my sister, brother-in-law and Mum and Dad for putting up with the noise.”

"I suppose the combination of cute kids and fresh beats is clearly a winner," Panrucker told ABC News.
