Seven people were shot in a Chicago nightclub early Thursday morning, reports the Chicago Tribune. The seven victims are in stable condition after the shooting at Mr. G’s Entertainment Center, in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood of the South Side.

Three rappers, Nino, Lil’ Mouse and King Samson, were performing at the club before a fight broke out, followed by the shooting around 1 a.m., police spokesman Officer Hector Alfaro told the Chicago Sun-Times.

What led to the fight or the shooting is not established, but police believe the incident was gang-related. Alfaro said it is unclear if any of the shooters were among the seven wounded, notes the Chicago Tribune. According to police, bullets were found inside and outside of the club, reports WLS.

Of the seven wounded, three individuals, two males aged 21 and 23 as well as a 19-year-old woman, went to Advocate Christ Medical Center on their accord to be treated for their injuries. Two men, ages 21 and 22, were treated at Holy Cross Hospital while two other men, ages 36 and 26, were treated at Little Company of Mary Hospital. WLS is reporting the six men are currently in stable condition while the woman is in serious but stable condition after being shot seven times, according to dispatch reports.

There could be more injuries that remain unreported as potential victims could have been taken to local hospitals by their friends or people they knew, reports Chicago Sun-Times. No individuals have been taken into custody, reports CNN.
