The earthquakes nightmare continues to dominate the globe with more news of agony still being reported. A new 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Pacific Ocean east of Atka, Alaska according to the US Geologic Survey.

So far there are no immediate reports of destruction or injuries, where the earthquake hit at a depth of about 172 km east of Atka and at a depth of 40 km. The Alaska Earthquake Information Center said that the Thursday evening quake was felt through the central Aleutians.

The West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Centre posted a tsunami warning for certain coastal areas of Alaska, and news reports now say the warning has been canceled.
