Philadelphia 76ers are not shopping Andre Iguodala according to GM Doug Collins.

At a press conference on the 76ers draft Collins said, We want him back. He got nicked up last year and was hurt and we think Dre is one of the reasons we are a good defensive team.

He added, Nobody is out there shopping Dre.

The 76ers big man has been the subject of numerous trade rumors including being traded to the Warriors for Monta Ellis and to the Lakers for Lamar Odom.

Despite Collins' denials, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the 76ers are fielding offers from other teams.

Of course the Sixers aren't exactly hanging up the phone when teams call to inquire about his availability, reports the Inquirer.

The Inquirer also said that Collins is going to travel to the West Coast to meet Iguodala and talk about the situation with him about the rumors being floated.

One thing he might tell him is what Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak said about the Lakers trade rumors circulating in various news reports.

A lot of the stuff that you read in the last two days, unfortunately, is agent-driven, Kupchak told reporters.

However, if indeed the rumors are agent-driven, agents are the ones likely to work in the individual player's interest.

If that's the case, perhaps there is more truth in that players like Iguodala and Odom themselves want to be traded.

Yesterday, another player subject of numerous rumors, Monta Ellis, reportedly told his agent that he wants to be traded off the Golden State Warriors.

It remains to be seen how this will all play out.

The NBA Collective Bargaining agreement expires at the end of the month and the players and owners still don't have a deal.

If a lockout occurs like the NFL, then we may see all these rumors go away because of that.
