Now that HP has decided once again to sell their defunct TouchPad tablet for $99, what are you going to do with it? You need some apps. Even though HP has given up on the TouchPad and its operating system, there are still a core of developers who are very passionate about the system. It's called webOS, and it was created by Palm. Yes, those harbingers of the 90's Palm Pilot guys. HP bought them, decided use the webOS system in the TouchPad and then killed them both off because nobody bought the $500 devices.

That is, of course, until they decided to get rid of their inventory of TouchPads with a $99 sales event. They sold out of the stocks, and promised one more run of discount devices. HP has kept their promise, but this time, the TouchPads going on sale on not new. The $99 tablets going on sale Sunday, Dec. 11 on eBay are refurbished. If you get one and you want some cool apps, open the App Catalog and download your apps from there. Unlike the App Store or Android Marketplace, the App Catalog cannot be accessed from the Web; only through webOS devices. Start the slideshow to see the top 10 webOS apps. Tell us in the comments if you got a discount TouchPad during the first fire-sale or if you plan on grabbing one this time.
