The A's could have saved a few of last night's runs for tonight.

One night after putting up 14 run against the Angels, Oakland's offensive woes continued, managing only one earned run over and losing to the Twins 4-3 in 10 innings.

The Twins managed a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning after Daric Barton's errant throw to second allowed Delmon young to reach third.

The Twins, who continued to honor the late Harmon Killebrew by hanging his jersey in their dugout, scored three early runs off of A's starting pitcher Brandon McCarthy who went seven innings allowing nine hits.

The A's got two unearned runs in the bottom of the second and an RBI single by Hideki Matsui in the sixth for their three runs.
