New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will be charged with obstruction of justice in connection to the shooting death of semi-pro football player whose body was found less than a mile from Hernandez's home in Attleboro, Mass., sources told WBZ NewsRadio 1030.

The station reported the individual cited has knowledge of the homicide investigation, saying an arrest warrant has been issued for Hernandez.

Though Massachusetts State Police are expected to be responsible for arresting Hernandez, it is still not clear when and where the arrest will take place.

The body of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd was found on Monday in a clearing of an industrial park in North Attleboro. The body, which had a gunshot in the back of the head, was discovered by a teenager runner.

According to Fox News, Lloyd had gone out with Hernandez and two other men the night before his body was discovered. Lloyd had been driving an SUV that was rented in Hernandez's name and was also dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancé.

Sources with knowledge of the investigation said Hernandez destroyed both his cell phone and home surveillance camera videos following the death of Lloyd.

The Patriots have refrained from commenting on the case. Hernandez has been recovering from shoulder surgery, and a team official said the team would not comment on the case due to the current investigation.
