"Dancing With the Stars" has had a guest judge throughout Season 18, and May 5 will be no exception -- except for the fact that two of the professional dancers seem to despise the next judge's tactics. “Dance Moms” coach Abby Lee Miller will be on the next “DWTS” and it could turn out to be a tumultuous appearance if she is as harsh on the competitors and professional dancers as she is on her own students. In the past, some of the “DWTS” pros have commented on the reality star’s harsh criticisms.

Mark Ballas, Derek Hough and Louis van Amstel have all made public statements about Miller’s strategies. In 2011, Amstel took to Twitter to comment on the Lifetime show and its infamous dance instructor. According to Wet Paint, he said the show should be canceled, but if kept on the air parents should only watch it to make sure they “NEVER let [their] kids take lessons from a teacher like [Abby]."

Hough and Ballas also had similar sentiments. They took to Twitter in 2012.

Some of Ballas' rant read: "Watching dance moms... Anyone watch this show?? This teacher lady is crazy... Completely wrong attitude towards the kids, it['s] embarrassing." He reportedly added, "I watched 4 15 mins & switched off, & only reason I wld watch is concern 4 the kids, she needs 2 B fired...#abbeysucks.”

There was a follower who defended Miller, but Ballas wouldn’t let that go and said her tactics were unacceptable. "Horrific tactics...correct teaching is patience, discipline, confidence building and love."

Hough's comments weren't far off from Ballas': I"'m sorry but this Dance mom show is straight up abusive... Kids Run !!!!!!! It ain't right. Child abuse isn't right. I'm livid right now," he said, according to Wet Paint. "Theres a difference between being strict and being abusive... I believe in discipline and a strong work ethic. But there is nothing productive about screaming and making little girls cry over being on the wrong foot.”

These comments were made years ago, and it is unclear if the pro dancers still harbor these ill feelings toward Miller. Her appearance on the show will air on Monday, May 5, at 8 p.m. EST, on ABC.
