Maddie Ziegler may not get a warm welcome back to "Dance Moms" from coach Abby Lee Miller in episode 8. Lifetime

Is Maddie Ziegler getting too famous for Abby Lee Miller’s liking? After years of prepping her student for super stardom, the synopsis for Tuesday’s “Dance Moms” Season 6 installment teases the 13 year old's recent rise to fame may be getting under her coach’s skin.

After making a last-minute appearance on Lifetime's Feb. 16 installment, Maddie will make her official return to ALDC LA (Abby Lee Dance Company Los Angeles) in episode 8. While viewers will may be overjoyed about her return — she has been MIA this season shooting “The Book of Henry” film — the synopsis for “Maddie Is Back” reveals Abby “does not seem happy to see her.”

“The mothers wonder if Abby is jealous of Maddie’s fame,” the summary reads. In the episode 8 preview, the moms reveal that Abby did not watch Maddie’s latest appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” When they ask if her decision not to tune stems from jealousy, Abby looks shocked.

While the moms may be concerned about Abby’s treatment towards her star pupil, it appears one mom will use it as opportunity to get her daughter ahead. “Ashlee hopes that Abby will spend more time grooming Brynn [Rumfallo] to be the next big star,” the synopsis states. Her behavior comes on the heels of Abby revealing Brynn, 12, has been put on probation as a result of Maddie's comeback.

Elsewhere in the episode, Abby, who has been facing legal troubles this season, will break down. “I sacrificed everything for your kids. I’m sick and tired of fighting,” she says while wiping away her tears in the promo.

[Spoiler Alert]

The episode won’t be all about the mom drama. The elite junior team will compete a group number based on the seven deadly sins. The number placed first in the junior division and first-place overall at Dream NDC in San Diego on Dec. 5, reports one “Dance Moms” spoiler site.

Despite having Maddie back, Abby will not gift her a solo in episode 8. Competition attendees report that JoJo Siwa, Nia Frazier and Mackenzie Ziegler performed solo routines. Mackenzie, 11, was the only cast member to place in the overalls with her number.

"Dance Moms" Season 6, episode 8, "Maddie Is Back," airs Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
