About 10,000 London Olympics' volunteers and employees who will work during the Games attended the first orientation training event at Wembley arena on Friday.

The session at the venue which hosted the 1948 Olympics was the first of six national orientation events before the Games open on July 27.

A statement from the organisers said around 70 percent of the trainees at each session would come from the estimated 70,000 Games' volunteers.
