Nutrisystem has announced that it has chosen “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” actress Melissa Joan Hart to be its newest spokesperson.

In a Tuesday morning press release, the leading weight-loss company announced that the popular actress has been following its diet plan since the birth of her third child in September and has already lost 20 pounds.

"We are thrilled to be helping and working with Melissa," Keira Krausz, Nutrisystem's chief marketing officer, said in the press release. "She mirrors our values and will resonate with our customers as authentic. Moving forward, you'll see us have an appropriate mix of inspiring celebrities and real-life customers who have also enjoyed success. We think dieters are savvier than ever and really appreciate someone who -- above all else -- is relatable."

The “Can’t Hardly Wait” actress is also excited about the opportunity. "I love working with Nutrisystem. The program is really delivering results for me, and I look forward to long term success, staying motivated and helping others do the same," she said.

Hart burst onto the acting scene as the star of the Nickelodeon series “Clarissa Explains It All” and has been a television fixture ever since. She starred on the cult classic “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” from 1996 to 2003 and currently appears alongside Joey Lawrence in the ABC Family comedy series “Melissa & Joey.”

The 36-year-old actress has three children with husband Mark Wilkerson, a rock musician. The couple has been married since 2003.
