Business software maker Adobe Systems Inc said on Wednesday it is on track to meet its fourth quarter revenue and profit outlook, which are in line with analysts estimates.

The maker of Photoshop and Acrobat software expects earnings per share excluding special items in the period ending in Nov 27 at 33 cents to 39 cents. It expects revenue to be in a range of $690 million to $740 million.

Analysts expects a profit of 37 cents a share on revenue of $723 according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

The fourth quarter financial targets do not factor in Adobe's plan to acquire Omniture Inc, a $1.8 billion deal announced on Sept 15. Adobe originally reported its outlook on the same day along with its quarterly results.

Adobe plans to report its fourth quarter results on Dec. 15.
