Adrienne Bailon will be tying the knot soon with fiancé Israel Houghton, but she’s not stressing over planning.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the former Cheetah Girl said she is having a swell time planning the wedding. Bailon also said that some of the people she’s working are making fun of her for taking things so calmly.

The “Real” host said much of her calmness comes from the fact that she had already finished planning the nuptials right after they got engaged. Bailon also said that it helped a lot that her fiancé is very involved in the planning process.

Speaking of what the general theme for the wedding will be, Bailon said she took her cue from one of her favorite actresses, Audrey Hepburn, who was very “classy and timeless.”

The host can’t help but gush over the new chapter in her life. In an appearance on “Hollywood Today Live,” Bailon opened up about how Houghton asked for her hand in marriage. The host detailed the experience, saying it was wonderful that her parents, who were celebrating their anniversary at the time, shared in the moment with them.

“We were vacationing in Europe,” Bailon said. “We had just gone to Greece and ended up coming back to Paris, and I was surprised with my parents showing up in Paris. I didn’t know. There was some trickery going on.”

Houghton popped the question while they were on a yacht, with the Eiffel tower in the background.

Even though Bailon has been happy about her current situation, the relationship between her and Houghton is still a subject of gossip and intrigue. There were many people saying the engagement happened hastily and Bailon was the reason Houghton ended his marriage of over 20 years. The Grammy-winning Christian singer, however, defended his lady love, according to E! News.

Bailon and Houghton started dating in March.
