“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Adrienne Maloof and Sean Stewart have ended their relationship after two months together.

Maloof, 51, pulled the plug on the relationship, E! Online reported. "It's over and she broke up with him … She needs a man," an unidentified source told the entertainment gossip site. Stewart is 32.

Maloof had told photographers who glimpsed the pair grabbing dinner one night that they were taking things slow and she wasn’t put off by Stewart's age.

“It’s about how good of a person you are,” she told TMZ. Sean “is a very funny guy. He’s very giving, he mentors at the mission, works with at-risk children and gives his time and money to get children off the streets … age is just a number.

“He’s truly a compassionate man," she said at the time. "I had no idea when I met him how young he actually was … but, you know, we just have a blast together and that’s exactly what I need right now in my life.”

In an unexpected turn Maloof’s ex-husband, Paul Nassif, came out in support of the relationship. “As long as [Adrienne’s] happy, that’s all I care about,” he said at the time, although he hasn't yet commented on the rumors that Maloof and Stewart have split.

One source said, "Adrienne would brag to her girlfriends that she was having the best sex of her life. So it does come as a surprise that they’ve broken up!”

“She and Sean definitely had an amazing spark, but it fizzled fast,” another source close to Stewart told Hollywood Life. “They had a talk and, while they really care for each other, decided they would be better as friends. He was just a great guy who was making her laugh and forget about her past dramas.”

Maloof had a rocky divorce from Nassif at the end of last year. Their divorce made headlines when Maloof’s attorneys claimed that Nassif had physically abused their sons, an allegation that was later said substantiated by the couple’s former personal chef Bernie Guzman. Nassif has denied the child abuse claims, calling them, “utterly false” and said their legal drama was a “circus.”

Maloof’s “Real Housewives” castmate Brandi Glanville expressed her skepticism about their relationship on Anderson Cooper’s CNN daytime show “Anderson Live.” Glanville told the CNN anchor that she didn’t think the two made an attractive couple.

“You didn’t realize Adrienne is dating Rod Stewart’s son?” Cooper asked Glanville, cuing a photo of the couple that was projected on to a TV.

“Ugh, I’m sorry, it’s just ... yikes. It’s a bad visual,” Glanville responded.

"There's nothing wrong with that," Glanville added. "It's just those two people. It just makes me want to throw up in my mouth a little and swallow it."

Meanwhile, Maloof’s ex-husband, 50, recently disclosed that he's dating a much-younger woman, former “Miss Nevada,” Helen Salas, who is 27.
