Agricultural Bank of China priced its Shanghai initial public offering at 2.68 yuan (40 cents) per share, the top of an indicated range, sources said on Tuesday, which combined with its Hong Kong offering and its greenshoe option is set to be the largest IPO ever.

AgBank will sell 22.24 billion yuan-denominated A-shares at 2.68 yuan apiece, after indicating a 2.52-2.68 yuan range, sources with direct knowledge of the matter said.

That means AgBank will raise a total of $19.3 billion, but a greenshoe option would expand the proceeds to $22.2 billion, making it the largest IPO ever. Given the demand for the offering, it is highly likely the greenshoe will be exercised.
