An Ottumwa, Iowa, real estate agent was lured to a house showing last Friday by two men, who police say then assaulted the agent at knife point and tied her up.

The two men — Carl Lennie, 40, who is believed to be homeless, and Matthew Howard, 24 — were arrested Saturday and were being held in the Wapello County Jail on robbery charges. Additional charges were pending.

Police chief Jim Clark says the real estate agent arrived at the Ottumwa home for a scheduled showing. The two men allegedly assaulted her at knife point and stole her cash and cell phone. Clark says the woman was able to break free and hid in the house until the two men left. She was later treated and released at the hospital.
