Life in the office during “Agent Carter” Season 2 might be a little easier for Peggy (Hayley Atwell). Marvel Entertainment’s official Twitter revealed a photo Thursday showing who her new boss is, and she is already on good terms with him. Daniel Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) is the new chief of the SSR, according to the new set photo.

It seems Sousa was promoted after Dooley's (Shea Whigham) tragic death. This is great news for Agent Carter. Last year, she had to answer to Dooley, who thought of her as a secretary more than an agent for most of the season. The new chief knows what Peggy is capable of and might trust her with missions more than her former boss.

Sousa might like Peggy a little too much, though. In the “Agent Carter” Season 1 finale, Sousa asked Peggy to get a drink with him, but she politely declined. Hopefully, he’ll get over any feelings he has because Captain America’s former flame will have a new suitor in Season 2.

The writers wouldn’t say who her new love interest is, but she’ll definitely fall for someone who is different from Captain America. “The thing we need to remember is she fell in love with the skinny Steve,” executive producer Chris Dingess told Comic Book Resources in July. “She fell in love with him before he became the Cap that the world knew. So when you're coming up with a character, it's really about finding those qualities. It's not necessarily this hunk of a guy with a shield. It's what's inside.”

Atwell hasn’t revealed who Peggy is dating, but she has said that she supports the idea of Peggy being bisexual. “There were a lot of people on Twitter who loved Peggy and Angie, saying 'Are they going to get together?' - and I think that would be amazing,” Atwell told Digital Spy. “It would be so forward-thinking - to make Peggy bisexual.”

“Marvel’s Agent Carter” Season 2 premieres in 2016 on ABC.
