After making splashes in both “Captain America” films and her hit television series “Agent Carter,” Marvel’s most daring female spy will be back in action in 2016. Luckily, fans don’t have to wait too long to know what’s in store for the characters on the show now that the entertainment company teased a slew of new information during its panel discussion at New York Comic Con.

Marvel Entertainment LLC’s head of television, Jeph Loeb, took to the stage at the annual event to showcase both “Agent Carter” and ABC’s other Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) spinoff, “Agents of SHIELD.” It didn’t take long for him to drop some major spoilers about Season 2 of the TV series, by way of a video message from the woman herself, Hayley Atwell, who plays Peggy Carter, and her co-star James D’Arcy, who plays Edwin Jarvis. Together, they wished the fans well before introducing none other than Dominic Cooper, the return of whose character Howard Stark was officially announced for Season 2.

Fortunately for “Agent Carter” fans, Stark isn’t the only character who will grace the Los Angeles stage when Peggy comes to town. Characters played by Reggie Austin, Wynn Everett, Currie Graham and Lotte Verbeek have all been confirmed as joining the cast in Season 2. Everett will play the comic-book villain Whitney Frost, better known to comic-book readers as Madame Masque. The character’s husband, Calvin Chadwick, will be portrayed by Graham. Meanwhile, Austin will play somebody named Jason Wilkes, and Verbeek will portray Jarvis’ much-talked-about wife, Ana.

In addition to Cooper and the four new cast members, Loeb confirmed the return of Dottie Underwood (Bridget Regan), Daniel Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) and Jack Thompson (Chad Michael Murray). All three characters will join Peggy in her new L.A. setting when Season 2 hits TV screens in 2016.

The teasers didn’t end there. Loeb gave attendees their first look at “Agent Carter” Season 2 by way of a fun clip featuring Peggy and Jarvis exploring one of Stark’s personal luxury vehicles. Unfortunately, the inventor has the car decked out with ways to impress a girl in the passenger seat, such as Champagne in the glove box and a quick-reclining seat. Obviously, they’re gadgets that Peggy has no reason or desire to use.
