'Agents Of SHIELD’ Season 2 Spoilers: Does Coulson Think He Is Evil? Watch Sneak Peek Videos From Episode 4, 'Face My Enemy'

“Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 2, episode 4, will take Coulson (Clark Gregg) and May (Ming-Na Wen) on an undercover mission. They’ll be searching for a clue that could help them understand Coulson’s strange carvings. As previously reported, not everything will go smoothly on this mission. Check out some of the trouble they’ll run into in the sneak peek videos below.

Sneak Peek No. 1

Coulson and May are blending in pretty well at a fancy party. May credits the dance elective she took for two weeks at the S.H.I.E.L.D. academy. They scope out the place for cameras and security guards while reminiscing about their first assignments together. It appears that Coulson also turned off the coms so that no one could hear them.

“Nostalgia’s fine, but I’d rather deal with reality. You planning to talk to me about your hand?” May asks.

Coulson’s tremor indicates that his body wants to create more strange carvings. He is fighting the urge, but they aren’t sure that what they’re looking for can stop him. The team doesn’t know that Coulson has a tremor or that he is making alien carvings. They think that they’re on a standard mission.

“I know you don’t want to talk about this, but we need to make a plan in case I go the way of Garrett,” Coulson says.

Coulson worries that he would go insane as John Garrett did in the “Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 1 finale. Garrett wanted to take over the world, and GH.325 made him believe that he was invincible. But they don’t have enough time to discuss a plan for if that happens. Something off-screen needs Coulson’s immediate attention.

Sneak Peek No. 2

Coulson and May are in full spy mode as they break into a locked area of the building. First Coulson knocks out a security guard and then he pulls out a fancy device that will deceive the retina scan. But being in the middle of a mission won’t stop Coulson from complimenting May.

“I really like that dress,” he says after they make it past the retina scan. May doesn't appear to care. She still seems annoyed that she wasn't the one who got to knock out the guard.

Skye and the S.H.I.E.L.D. team are guiding Coulson and May through the building via the coms. He tells them that they have to be faster than they originally planned, but then they see laser grids. Coulson is ready to break out the gymnastics moves, but May walks right through the grid.

“They already know we’re here,” she says as alarms go off.
