“Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” might already have the team in hiding, but they'll have to completely go off the grid after Season 2 episode 6. Though S.H.I.E.L.D. is already considered a terrorist organization, things will get worse once they’re blamed for an attack on the U.N., according to the latest episode synopsis.

Hydra is going to aim high and attack the U.N. Obviously, they won’t be going in as themselves. They’ll impersonate the S.H.I.E.L.D. team, making them some of the most wanted terrorists in the world. While they know that it’s Hydra right away, Talbot (Adrian Pasdar) might not be able to tell the difference.

The team will find that “an unexpected enemy leads the charge to bring about their downfall,” according to the synopsis. This likely refers to Skye’s father, the Doctor (Kyle MacLachlan). It seems that Whitehall (Reed Diamond) is going to stick to his deal with the Doctor—he’s going to help kill Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg). It’s the only way the Doctor will teach Hydra’s leader how to use the obelisk.

It also looks like Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) will be helping the team again. The promo video shows Skye asking for his help, and it might be because the attack involves his brother, Sen. Christian Ward (Tim DeKay).
