“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 2 may have put Coulson’s mysterious drawings on the back burner in episode 6, but they’ll be a huge part of episode 7. Viewers who stuck around after the "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" clip played saw a mysterious man (Brian Van Holt) getting tattoos of Coulson’s alien writing. According to the synopsis for “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 2, episode 7, there are plenty of other people with the alien language on their body.

Coulson would want to talk to anyone who has his carvings on their body, but he can’t find them soon enough. He and the S.H.I.E.L.D. team will find “murder victims with the alien glyphs on them that Coulson’s been etching.” It doesn’t specify if they’re tattooed or not, but this could mean that mysterious tattoo man will just be a dead body next week.

ABC is keeping details for the episode locked down. The synopsis doesn’t give anymore information but simply promises, “All of Coulson's secrets and lies come to a head.”

The teaser trailer shows that Coulson’s search will get very intense — but he might take it too far. The promo seems to show Skye pointing a gun at Coulson.
