It’s no surprise that professional Steve Rogers fanboy Phil Coulson is on Team Cap. But just how far is he willing to take his support for Captain America? [SPOILER ALERT: “Captain America: Civil War” details are revealed below.] In a new sneak-peek video for Season 3, episode 20 of the ABC series, Coulson is told to follow the new Sokovia Accords, but will he defy the government?

Sneak Peek No. 1

Talbot (Adrian Pasdar) confronts Coulson (Clark Gregg) in a bar. Since the episode takes place after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” the Sokovia Accords are in full effect. Coulson has to register some of his agents, but he’ll have to admit that he has Inhumans first. Talbot says the U.S. president believes Coulson might have some “undocumented, enhanced assets” on his team.

“Why would he think that?” Coulson asks.

“Because he’s not a moron,” Talbot answers. While it’s good to know that the POTUS isn’t as oblivious as he might seem, Coulson isn’t about to register his Inhumans.

“It’s good enough for the Avengers,” Talbot reasons.

“Not all of them,” Coulson says. “And the Avengers work in the spotlight. We work in the shadows.”

Talbot wants to know what’s happening behind closed doors. Coulson promises that he’ll bring the general in on his secrets and tells him to buckle up, which is weird since they’re at a booth in a bar. Talbot holds onto the table as the bartender pushes a button sending the table downwards.

Sneak Peek No. 2

If Hive (Brett Dalton) gets his way, there will be too many Inhumans to register. The villain is trying to turn people without the Inhuman gene into alien-human hybrids. Hive brings Dr. Radcliffe (John Hannah) some “volunteers.”

“Do whatever you want to us,” one test subject shouts. “Doesn’t change the fact that you’re all abominations!” Hellfire (Axle Whitehead) punches him in the face before locking him and the others in a storage container.

Hive thinks they’re saving their hostages from a life of anger, but Daisy (Chloe Bennet) isn’t concerned about bringing peace to the men who hate Inhumans. “They don’t deserve it,” Daisy says. The former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent is looking pretty sickly. It seems draining her blood for the experiment took a toll on her.

“Every human deserves a chance to be freed from his prison,” Hive tells Daisy. “Their emancipation will be my gift to you.”

Dr. Radcliffe doesn’t look thrilled about experimenting on unwilling participants, but he has to follow orders. He pumps his latest concoction into the storage container, and the screams of the men can be heard.
