As Skye embraces her new identity as Daisy Johnson, she’ll also be embracing new clothing. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 3 photos show Daisy (Chloe Bennet) in her new costume, which is fairly close to what she wears in the comics. Other photos from the premiere make it clear that she’ll have to put the suit on right away to fight the bad guys.

Daisy will have to save a fellow Inhuman. The pictures also show Joey (Juan Pablo Raba), a new Inhuman who was introduced in the trailer. Daisy will try to help him, and it looks like he’ll need all the support he can get. The ATCU (Advanced Threat Containment Unit) is after him.
The ATCU will be one of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s new enemies. According to the synopsis, they’re also looking for Inhumans. Led by Rosalind Price (Constance Zimmer), the team will be one of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s biggest adversaries this season. Coulson (Clark Gregg) will have to hope that they can get Joey before ATCU does, but the new organization will prove to be very adept.
“With Constance’s character, we’re hoping to give Coulson a new foil; someone who is his equal in a way, and give him a new dynamic with someone who he doesn’t know how much he can trust,” executive producer Jed Whedon told Entertainment Weekly. “Especially in the first episode, we’ll see that she is definitely formidable and someone to be feared.”
Coulson doesn’t appear much in these photos. When he shows up, he looks like a bystander, filming something on his phone. Perhaps he is doing some undercover work? In any case, he keeps his left hand out of sight, so fans still don’t know what will happen after Mack (Henry Simmons) chopped off the limb in the Season 2 finale.
Meanwhile, Daisy, Mack and Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) seem to be on a mission. Lincoln is working at a hospital, but things obviously take a dramatic turn when Daisy and Mack show up. Lincoln and Mack seem to have a confrontation, but as previously reported, they won't fight for long. They learn that they have to work as a team, which they seem to figure out pretty quickly. Other pictures show them chasing after someone together.
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 3 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
