“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” took a three month hiatus, so it’s easy to forget a few details. However, as with all Marvel projects, audiences will need to remember where the show left off. So let’s take a quick walk down memory lane and check out what happened in Season 3, episode 10:

A Trip To Maveth — Coulson (Clark Gregg) jumps out of a plane to get to the portal to Maveth in time. He gets in at the last second, just behind Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), Ward (Brett Dalton) and the Hydra team. They run into Will (Dillon Casey), and he leads them to the portal.

However, Fitz soon realizes that Will isn’t the astronaut Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) met. Will’s body is possessed by “It,” the ancient Inhuman that Hydra wants to bring back to Earth. Fitz fights him and manages to use his flare gun to light Will’s body on fire. While he was fighting “It,” Coulson was fighting Ward. The portal opens, and Ward is injured to a point where Coulson could’ve left him behind to die. However, the director can’t make the mistake of leaving him alive. He uses his robotic hand to crush Ward’s chest before going home. Watch Ward's death scene below:

Lash Returns — Simmons is being held hostage in the English castle so Hydra can reopen the portal, but the Secret Warriors try to help her out. Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) causes a power outage that allows Simmons to at least escape the control room. She finds herself in a room with Inhuman storage pods and sees May’s (Ming-Na Wen) ex-husband, Andrew (Blair Underwood). He convinces her to let him out so he can attack the guards. He destroys some Hydra personnel, but he is never seen again. May discovers that he not only killed the Hydra agents, but also murdered their Inhuman hostages. There is no one besides Fitz and Coulson to save now.

A New Evil — Lincoln questions if they should reopen the portal. Though Fitz and Coulson were still in there, Hydra hopes to bring out something very evil. What if “It” escapes with them? The S.H.I.E.L.D. team isn’t leaving their men behind, though. Unfortunately, when they let Coulson and Fitz out, they also let Ward out — except he isn’t Ward anymore. “It” possessed his body and now is working with Malick (Powers Boothe).

An Emotional Reunion — Coulson and Fitz are able to be saved by Mack (Henry Simmons) and Daisy (Chloe Bennet) just before S.H.I.E.L.D. blows up the castle. Upon their return, Daisy and Lincoln share their first kiss, and Coulson and May have an emotional hug. Meanwhile, Simmons learns that Will is dead. Watch the reunion below:

When “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 3 returns, expect Coulson to be a changed man after killing Ward. He’ll feel even guiltier after he learns about what happened to Ward’s body. Meanwhile, Daisy’s Secret Warriors crew will get even bigger with the addition of Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez (Natalia Cordova-Buckley), a.k.a. Slingshot. See more spoilers for the spring episodes HERE.

The midseason premiere of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 3 airs Tuesday, March 8 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
