“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 4 is going to be very different. At the end of the Season 3 finale, a flash-forward revealed that Daisy went rogue. Not only did she adapt goth clothing, but she is causing trouble all over the place. Newspapers have nicknamed her Quake and question if she is a hero or terrorist. Actress Chloe Bennet revealed that Daisy’s whole attitude has changed after Lincoln’s death.

“I think it makes her more ruthless being so close to what she thought was her own death,” Bennet told Entertainment Weekly. “And then it happening in one of the worst scenarios she could ever think of, which is the person that she loved doing it for her, I think it changes her in a way where she probably will face life with even more ruthlessness. Also, there’s a sense of sadness that was there that I tried to make apparent at the end of the episode.”

Daisy isn’t exactly bad to the bone, though. She was shown helping Hinton’s (Bjorn Johnson) family, which clearly indicated she is still a good guy. Executive producer Jed Whedon previously revealed that despite ditching her fellow agents, she would be trying to live up to what Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) sacrificed himself for. He believed that all Inhumans have a purpose, and Daisy had yet to fulfill her destiny.

“We can see through, yes, dealing with Hinton's wife and the girl that she’s keeping a promise, but she’s also honoring what Lincoln said, which is he believed she was meant for more than this,” Whedon explained to the Hollywood Reporter in May. “While she would feel that maybe there’s now nothing to lose, she also wants to live up to his belief in her and whether or not she’s doing that through good means or whether or not she’s a rogue, we’ll see.”

Daisy’s new purpose won’t be the only change in “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 4. There will also be a new director. As previously reported, Clark Gregg isn’t sure who will replace Coulson, but he knows who deserves the job: May (Ming-Na Wen). “I’d love it if it was [her],” Gregg told Entertainment Weekly. “That would be magnificent. She has earned that right and she is a commander that Coulson would absolutely follow with absolute loyalty.”

Whoever it is, audiences will have to hope that they have a soft spot for Daisy as well. With all the media attention Quake is getting, it seems like she’ll be in major trouble when S.H.I.E.L.D. finally catches up to her.

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 4 will premiere on ABC in the fall in a new time slot, Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EDT.
