Al Pacino Katie Holmes movie, The Son of No One faced an exodus at it screening halfway through by the distributors and executives of film companies.

It is one of the first movies to bomb at the Sundance. According to The Hollywood Reporter, very few were left till the end of the screening, on Monday, which was greeted by complete silence, with no token applause as well.

It is crime thriller about a young cop who is assigned to a precinct in the area he grew up and is directed by Dito Montiel, who earlier made A Guide to Recognizing your Saints which won an award at the 2006 Sundance festival.

Besides Holmes and Pacino, the movie boasts a string of A-listers like Channing Tatum, Ray Liotta and Juliette Binoche. The movie may still manage to find a buyer based on its star cast, or may even generate a late interest pickup. With a marketing team like UTA behind it, all is not lost.
