At least two tornadoes raged across Alabama on Friday, destroying homes in the Hunstville region. Emergency responders rushed to Limestone and Madison counties to assist residents as houses collapsed.

The LA Times reports that the Limestone Correctional Facility in Alabama took a direct hit. Injuries have been reported at the center and the tornado reportedly tore down nearly one thousand feet of fence.

The damage in Alabama is the latest in a two-day storm that has devastated homes throughout the Midwest and South, killing at least 13 people and injuring hundreds.
