Alicia Etheredge, wife of singer Bobby Brown, gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday after getting admitted to Cedars-Sinai Hospital Friday evening. The child marks the second for the couple, but Brown’s sixth from previous relationships.

Entertainment Tonight broke the news on Saturday, and a rep for the R&B artist confirmed the birth to E! News. A name or details about their newest addition has not been revealed. The baby girl joins six-year-old big brother, Cassius.

Bobby Brown and Alicia Etheredge first met before Brown married Whitney Houston in 1992. The pair lost touch, but reconnected after his 2007 divorce when Etheredge became his manager. Brown proposed to Etheredge in 2009 during a performance in Jacksonville, Florida. They got married in June 2012, just a few months after Houston died from an accidental drowning in a bathtub in February.

Despite the happy addition to their family, Brown and Etheredge have faced some hardships in the past couple months. Brown’s daughter with Houston, Bobbi Kristina, was hospitalized on Jan. 31 after being found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home. Brown has been photographed splitting his time with his wife and at the bedside of his daughter.

Bobbi Kristina, 22, was admitted to Peachtree Christian Hospice on June 24. Her maternal aunt, Patricia Houston, confirmed that her condition had “deteriorated.”
