Roseanne Barr For President: Inside Green Party Campaign By U.S. Comedian
It's no joke: Roseanne Bar is running for the Green Party's nomination in a bid to become President of the United States. What's her platform? How is she ranked among the other Green Party candidates? And does Roseanne Barr actually have a chance? Reuters

The TV promos for comedian and actress Roseanne Barr's Comedy Central roast this weekend feature Barr declaring she has no fear of a collection of her peers coming together to make fun of her. She explains her lack of nerves by saying, dripping with sarcasm, "I'm pretty sure everyone loves me." Barr clearly knows she's given those who will roast her much material, from her multiple failed marriages to her 2011 macadamia nut farm reality show with the obvious title, "Roseanne's Nuts."

While those who have followed Roseanne's career, or at least her tabloid-worthy antics, can guess the barbs the roasters will throw, fans are now learning which celebrities will do the roasting. Entertainment Weekly is reporting the roast will include slams by Carrie Fisher, Seth Green, Sharon Stone, Katey Sagal, Anthony Jeselnik, Amy Schumer and Jeffrey Ross.

Barr is said to be looking forward to being roasted, telling Access Hollywood, "It's gonna be a blast!" She's especially looking forward to hearing what one of the famous names will have to say about her. "Glee's" Jane Lynch was one of the first stars confirmed for the roast, and Barr is a big fan saying, "I just love her - she is one of the best I've ever seen. She's the funniest friggin' thing I've ever seen."

The actual lambasting of Barr will happen Saturday, while the roast will be aired for public consumption Aug. 12.
