Amal Clooney Dazzles In Silk Chiffon Atelier Versace Gown With George Clooney On Her Debut At Cannes Film Festival

Amal Clooney stole the spot light as she made her debut at the red carpet on the second day of the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival Thursday. George Clooney's wife dazzled in a light yellow silk chiffon Atelier Versace gown.

The British human rights attorney joined the cast member of "Money Monster" at the red carpet ahead of the movies' premiere. Amal was seen holding her husband's hand as she made her red carpet walk. The 38-year-old accessorized her flowy dress with a red lip and a matching red earring.

Amal, who has previously made several fashion statement, reportedly struggled with the long length of her gown, which also had a slit. According to reports, George gushed over his wife's beauty and held her close at the festival. Several photos showed George admiring Amal as the two posed for photographs at the event.

Amal, who got married to George in Venice, Italy, on Sept. 27, 2014, was also seen chatting with her husband's co-star Julia Roberts at the premiere of "Money Monster."

The style icon has been the centre of attention since she arrived for her debut at the Cannes festival. On Wednesday, Clooney wore a red Rosie Assoulin top during lunch at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes.
