Amal Clooney showed off her slim frame in a bubble skirt as she arrived for the 69th Cannes Film Festival in France Tuesday. The British human rights attorney arrived at the Eden Roc Hotel in Cap d'Antibes for the film festival along with her husband George Clooney.

Several media outlets posted photos of Amal wearing the puffball skirt teamed up with a cream cardigan and shiny black loafers. Amal held George's hand while the two were greeted one day ahead of the official start of the festival, Radar Online reported. George, 55, sported a casual look wearing a fitted black leather jacket over a white t-shirt and jeans.

The couple, who got married in Venice, Italy, on Sept. 27, 2014, are attending this year's festival in support of George's upcoming film "Money Monster," which will be screened during the event. The movie also stars Oscar winner Julia Roberts.

Last week, rumors surfaced that George's friendship with Roberts made Amal feel “threatened” and she asked her husband to maintain distance from Roberts.

A source told OK! Magazine that the British-Lebanese lawyer told George to “keep at least three feet between [her and Roberts] on the red carpet and at premieres.”

“Amal was already so paranoid about Julia, she visited the 'Money Monster' set several times. George actually thought they were striking up a friendship, but now he sees that Amal wanted to keep tabs on him,” the source added.

However, Gossip Cop debunked the report, saying that Amal does not have any problems with Roberts.
