Amal Clooney wowed in a silk gown as she and George Clooney went for an evening outing in Lake Como, Northern Italy. The couple is on a vacation in the upscale resort area where George owns a villa.

The British-Lebanese lawyer wore a Dolce & Gabbana number that had intricate lace work around neckline and sides of the dress. She accessorized it with dangling earrings and a golden clutch. Amal left her tresses loose and parted them to the side. Her makeup appeared minimal with dash of pink lipstick.

George looked dapper in a light blue suit and white shirt as he helped his 38-year-old wife get on a boat during their outing. The couple was accompanied by the actor’s friends and family, including his parents Nick and Nina Clooney, and friend Bill Murray.

Meanwhile, Amal and George experienced a frightening situation with a man said to have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. The two reportedly got a lengthy threatening letter from Mark Bibbee, who talked about violence and referenced a plot to kill former President George H.W. Bush as well as the disappearance and alleged murder of JonBenét Ramsey in December 1996. The letter was given to a judge who ordered Bibbee to stay at least 100 yards from Amal and George. Bibbee is being held in the Veterans Administration Hospital in California.
