'Amazing Race' Season 30 Cast Announced, Are Teams All Famous?

It's been a long wait for "Amazing Race" fans, but CBS has finally confirmed the cast members who will be competing in the upcoming 30th Season of the show.

The new cast will feature teams with pre-existing relationships, returning to the format the show has used most often, with the exception being Season 26 and 29. Season 26 saw half the teams meeting their partners at the starting line, while Season 29 consisted solely of strangers who were then competing together. This time around the cast will feature athletes, musicians, reality stars and even competitive eaters.

Cedric Ceballos And Shawn Marion

Cedric, 48 and Shawn,39, also known as #TeamSlamDunk, are retired NBA players.

April Gould And Sarah Williams

Williams and Gould, both 39 and from Arizona, are Goat Yoga Moms. Their team name is #TeamGoatYoga.

Cody Nickson And Jessica Graf

Big Brother" fans will recognize Jessica and Cody from the most recent stint on the show. #TeamBigBrother is now taking their romance on the road by appearing on the new season of "The Amazing Race."

Henry Zhang And Evan Lynyak

#TeamYale will have some big advantages in the race, as the dating 22-year-olds are alo champion debaters at Yale, which could prove to be a useful skill throughout their race around the world.

Trevor Wadleigh And Chris Marchant

These dating guys, going by the name #TeamWellStrung, are a part of the string quarter of the same name.

Alexander Rossi And Conor Daly

Alexander and Conor are both IndyCar drivers, with Alex actually winning the Indy500 in 2016. Their team name will be #TeamIndyCar.

Dessie Mitcheson And Kayla Fitzgerald

These friends are not only Instagram models, but ring girls as well, which means they will be competitive all season long. Their team name is #TheRingGirls.

Joey Chestnut And Tim Janus

Those who follow competitive eating competitions are familiar with the two faces making up #TeamChomp, as both have been champion competitive eaters in the past.

#TeamExtreme could prove to be the ones to beat in the news season, as competition is in the blood of these retired professional skiers.

Lucas Bocanegra and Brittany Austin
