The Amazing Spider-Man trailer was officially released on Wednesday by Columbia Pictures. The film, set hit theaters in July 2012, follows the journey and transformation of Peter Parker, played by Andrew Garfield, into Spider-Man.
Rather than a rehash of the 2002 Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man follows the comic book sequence including the character of Gwen Stacy, Spider-Man's first love, played by Emma Stone.
The Amazing Spider-Man will be directed by Marc Webb, best known for his 2009 film (500) Days of Summer.
