Speculation about the next generation Kindle device from Amazon.com grew on Tuesday after the company announced a press conference at the same location where it introduced the first generation device.

Amazon has scheduled a press conference on Feb. 9 at Morgan Library & Museum in New York.

Amazon chief executive Jeff Bezos will host the event, according to Information Week.
