Following reports that Johnny Depp and his fiancée, actress Amber Heard might be pregnant, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star recently shot down rumors that his leading lady is expecting the couple's first child together.

According to OK! Magazine, Heard, 27, was allegedly prepping for a baby or possibly already pregnant by Depp, 50, her fiancé of two months. In the report, the gossip magazine claims that the couple admitted that they were in the process of starting their family during their swanky engagement celebration in Los Angeles March 14. Despite their rumored announcement, the tabloid went on to claim that Heard might already be with child, even publishing an image of what was speculated to be a possible baby bump.

Despite the tabloids claims of a potential third child set to join Depp’s other two children, Lily-Rose, 14, and Jack, 11, the veteran film star has since confirmed that the report couldn’t be farther from the truth.

When prompted to address the recent rumors that he is “expecting” during his “Transcendence” film promotional tour Friday, Depp responded by saying, “Expecting what?” before later confirming that he is not a daddy-to-be. “A child? Good god, what do you think I am, a savage? No, no truth to that,” Depp told the "Today Show" before going on to clarify that his upcoming summer wedding to Heard is not a rushed celebration due to her alleged burgeoning bump. “[It’s] not a shotgun affair,” said Depp.

While Depp has since shot down reports of Heard’s baby bump, OK! Magazine reported that the “3 Days to Kill” actress is already reorganizing her work scheduled to accommodate a pregnancy. “[Amber] has a movie in London this spring but after that her schedule is clear to accommodate a growing baby bump,” said a source, adding that Depp is excited about the prospect of welcoming another child. “[Johnny] says it’s a whole new life for him. He’s thrilled to bits!” said one insider.

Reports of Depp and Heards' family plans last made headlines in February, US Weekly reporting that the A-list actor was planning to add more children to his brood. “He wants marriage, babies, everything with her,” a source told the magazine.

After weeks of speculation, Depp confirmed his engagement to Heard on March 31. The couple, former co-stars on the film “The Rum Diary,” began dating back in 2012. The couple is rumored to be tying the knot on Depp’s private island in the Bahamas later this year.
